Hang in There
It is increasingly suggested that the topics concerning discrimination, violence, and gender stereotyping have been overexploited. That it is high time we talked and thought in new categories. “Hang in there” will insist on the need for careful looking into the daily routine of trauma that hasn’t faded at all. One can say a lot about violence, but talking seems to be the hardest thing. Typical for traumatic experiences is the loss of language, the difficulty in naming the pain. “Hang in there” is an attempt to “verbalize” bodily and through motion the constraints and powerlessness, to cross the line of paralysis and victimization.
